How To Say The Letters In Egyptian Arabic

If you’re studying Arabic, you’ve probably noticed by now that the way the letters sound in the Egyptian dialect compared to many of the other dialects is different.

Knowing the Egyptian pronunciation of the Arabic alphabet will help you do a number of things better in and around Egypt and online:

  • Watch and learn from Egyptian movies
  • Understand Egyptian street and store signs
  • Give your Uber driver clear directions so that you don’t both end up lost
  • Understand more Arabic pop music song lyrics, since most of them are sung in Egyptian
